Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to an ethnically diverse family from South London. Her father is Nigerian as well as Swiss and the mother of her is English. She was a student at The Brit School when she was 14 years old. She went to an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with a BA in acting. As a student at the academy was when she performed in various stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her career as an actress through the film Storm Damage. The actress has been guest in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe landed her first motion picture role in the Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. In the following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie and six episodes in Flipside. The year 2008 saw her had the opportunity to play the part of Bambi on the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl and was featured in the three and two series. Madekwe was a star in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Her credits in theatre are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe officially made her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes at The CW, and was eventually ended. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge from February 2011. Madekwe was a regular in the ABC drama series Revenge in two episodes. It was revealed in May 2013 that she was set to quit the show after completing one guest appearance on the very first season of the third. On the show Salem, she played Tituba in 2014 through 2016. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg on June 2012. Apart from Secret Diary of a Call Girl they have also worked in tandem on Salem and also he played a part alongside her in the show on TV.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actor who was raised by an extended family. She was born to Roy and Patty Leggat. Her family included both parents Roy and Patty as well as four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's athletic brothers played baseball during summers as well as hockey in winter. Ashley never actually walked -she did dance, so at the age of 2 1/2 years old she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley discovered a love for dancing when she began the Baby Ballet. When she was in High School, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical, and hip-hop. She was the top soloist in big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
