Annie Lederman, along with another student, presented evidence in the courtroom against the teacher following this incident. Then, she began to become close to several other students who had been involved in criminal activity and drug trafficking. Annie Lederman completed high school when she was seventeen years old. After that she was able to spend the entire year following doing voluntary work. The first was in Hawaii teaching dolphins and after that at Central America working for nonprofit organizations helping disadvantaged youth.
