Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actress and musician is best known for her role in Tamil as well as Malayalam films. Her first appearance as an actor was in Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as an attorney in the Madras High Court. Her mother is the older sibling of the researcher assistant in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born in Chennai attended National Public School. He graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea is a young girl who started the classical piano at eight, is classified as a "geek" and was aspired to become a psychiatric until her 12th grade board exam. Young Stars, a Jackson Five group that she joined at the age of 10, was her foundation for early singing and music. She also was a theatre performer in the college she attended and appeared in several performances staged through The Madras Players and EVAM. She served as the head of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started her career performing in theater with Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. Andrea was in a new Leo commercial for coffee with actor Shiva in 2006. In 2006, she appeared in a television series which aired on Podhigai. She has appeared in all parts of India. She played a brief role at the end in Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). When she sang a tune in Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu she was asked to appear in the role of a lead female characters for his upcoming film Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea is Kalyani who is married and mother whose man loves her. Andrea was chosen for the part after Simran and Tabu both actresses were approached by producers. The movie was announced in the early part of 2010. In 2011 she agreed to take on a minor part that was released early in the year. Venkat Prabhu's film with a number of stars Mankatha which was released in August of the year 2011. Annayum Rasoolum was a romantic film directed by Rajeeev Ravi, that was released in 2013, marked the actress's Malayalam debut.
