Jacqueline Fernandez was born in Sri Lanka and is an actress and model, who has primarily worked within the Indian film industry. Jacqueline Fernandez was the 2007. Miss Sri Lanka Universe winner. Fernandez, who is of Canadian, Sri Lankan, Malaysian and multiracial heritage has spent a large portion of her growing up in Bahrain. She earned a bachelor's degree in mass communication at the University of Sydney and worked as a reporter for a television station in Sri Lanka for a considerable time prior to entering modeling. When she represented her country in Miss Universe 2006, she has become one of the top models in Sri Lanka. As part of a professional travel in India in 2009, Jasmine was cast as Aladin for the role of Aladin by Sujoy Ghosh. The role that she landed her first big break came in 2011 when she was given the role of lead actress Priya in the film 'Murder 2'. Fernandez has had a stellar career after this film, that was a huge success on the box office and among reviewers.
